Avatar questions from one of it's directors

Tue May 27, 2008, 10:21 PM
A lot of people ask me questions about season three. I'm in the dark man. In fact, I should be asking you guys the questions:

So, is Avatar going to air new episodes in July? Or are they just going to play the series finale in July and act like episodes 312 (Western Air Temple) through 318 (Monkey Steals the Peach) never even existed?

I'm unclear on this. I mean, if they're releasing the episodes on DVD anyway, why even bother?

Won't the fans be confused if the last thing they saw was Hakoda get apprehended by the Fire Nation, and then next thing you see is Aang boxing Hanna Montana?

Is it okay for me to post storyboards of episodes that have been released on DVD? That's pretty much the same as them airing right?

Has anyone NOT watched up to Boiling Rock Part 2?

Does anyone care anymore since you can just read what happens in a book?

Keep in mind that I like to keep my site spoiler free. But I don't even know what a spoiler is anymore.

What's the difference between organic peanuts and 100% natural peanuts?

I'd love to see the storyboards. As for what's going on...who knows. As far as I can tell Nick plans to air just the finale in July.

I don't know about the first few.
But I'd be confused it Aang was boxing Hannah Montana.
Yeah, story boards are cool :3
Uhh I'm sure some people haven't but if they haven't they aren't that into Avatar.
I care! I'm keeping myself spoiler free from that book. Especially because it hasn't (and probably won't be) released in New Zealand so I'll never know what people are talking about.

Natural peanuts are tastier :D

It's really sad they messed up the airing dates like this. I'm sure no one is more frustrated about this situation than the creators themselves.

I think even if people have seen all the way up to Boiling Rock Part 2, most of them will still support the show by watching it when it (finally) airs. A lot of people are staying clear of that book so know that this one fan (and her siblings) are still very much looking forward to watching the finale in all its animated glory.

Take care!

the last episode i saw was 311. i'm still waiting for netflix to send me the volume three dvd... it's just so disappointing that nick has taken what is probably the best show they've ever had and have treated it and its fans like they don't exist... and have apparently decided that the only show that matters to them is icarly. typical business-as-usual from the mtv network, i suppose.

as for spoilers, well... so far i've avoided them completely. i'm not sure how long that will last, though.

Yeah.. I've just been giving up on trying to watch out daily for new updates on Avatar.. seems like every couple of weeks I'll get online and see if I can find anything new.

Organic peanuts are man-made. :P

Most of the Avatar-watching world don't have prompt access to the book so their only anticipation is the newest episodes.

Aang boxing with Hannah Montana? Oh god make it happen.

O-.. organic peanuts have.. uhm, more carbon?

Also I think the answers to most of the other questions are that Nick's dicking the fandom around. ):
Aang boxing Hannah Montana? I'd pay good money to see that.

I've seen Boiling rock parts I + II...and I don't know a single avatar fan who hasn't XD

Kaitie: Remember, lunch, every Sunday.
Me: Yes, of course.
Kaitie: I love it how I'm two feet taller than you.
Me: You can rest your chin on my head.
Kaitie: It's very comfortable.
Me: I can feel your heart beat.
Kaitie: Awkward.
Though I've seen all the eps up to Boiling Rock pt2 i know a lot of ppl who are waiting, and i think most people do care. I know of a few who are extremely frustrated and considering to just stop watching, but I must say we are still on board! *no ones going for the book*

Also, as far as spoilers, I would say you could post the storyboards of eps up to The Boiling Rock pt2 with spoiler warning in the title. So many people have already seen them, so it wouldn't be too big of a deal.

BTW Giancarlo, i think they're starting the eps up again on July 14th. But I'm not sure, because at one time i heard the series would end on July 14th. :noes:

Idk, we're all in the dark right now. But hey, thanks for always helpin us out you know? we appreciate it very much!!

Okay, I'm just confused now!? They are releasing the episodes on DVD before airing them, and then are gonna show the finale? I don't get it???

I don't like spoilers, so I wouldn't want to see a storyboard from an episode I haven't seen yet. But if you put the episode # in the title of the Deviation, then I'd know it's from an episode I haven't seen and know not look at it. So it's fine by me.
